On X
The website field on X, and the one URL to paste there
X gives a profile one website field. Paste the published Page URL there, with https, such as https://yourspage.com/yourname. Open Edit profile, put that address in the Website field, and save. The link shows under the bio. The bio can stay a sentence. X’s help lists Website as its own field, next to Bio, on x.com and in the iOS and Android apps. If the label has moved, use the website slot.
One slot under the bio
X is the app that used to be called Twitter. The profile still has one website field. That field is a link. The bio above it is a sentence.
https://yourspage.com/yourname stays in the field. Add a show, a shop link, or another profile on the page, and X still points at the same URL. That is the reason to put Page there: the address in the field does not have to change. The same slot on the other profiles you use is on the link in bio page.

Copy the published address, with https
Paste the published page, and include https. On a username the string is https://yourspage.com/yourname. Do not paste the address of your X profile. That address opens X. This one opens your page.
You can build the draft on yourspage.com before you pay. Copy the address while you work. Other people can open it only after you publish. Publishing is $5.99 a month, $49 a year, or $149 once. The amounts are on pricing.

Edit profile on a computer and a phone
X writes the steps once, for a computer and for a phone. Sign in on x.com, or open the iOS or Android app. Go to your profile. Click or tap Edit profile. Website is in that list, beside Bio. Open Website, paste the URL, and save.
Those steps are on X’s help page, How to customize your X profile: https://help.x.com/en/managing-your-account/how-to-customize-your-profile. A copy of that page from 3 December 2025 is what we could read. The live page did not load in an automated check. On that copy, Bio is limited to 160 characters, and Website is its own field. The help page does not say where the link sits after you save. On the profile, it shows under the bio, so the bio can stay a sentence. The apps move these labels. You are looking for the website slot.
Once it is saved, reorder the blocks on https://yourspage.com/yourname. You do not open Edit profile to insert a new link, and you do not rewrite the bio. The field keeps the same URL. Where else you can paste it is on the share page.

Different reasons, one first block
People open the profile for different reasons. One came from a post about a show. Another wants your site. The first block is what both of them see. Put this month’s link first. Other profiles can be icons. A shop you already run stays a link to that shop. The order still happens there.
If the field should show a hostname you already own, connect that name and paste its https address instead. A usual shape is https://links.yourname.com. You add one DNS record at the registrar. SSL is included. You still pay the registrar. We do not sell the domain, and we do not keep it if you leave. The page on yourspage.com can use that hostname. The username URL still works if you skip the domain. The record is on the custom domain page.

Leave the field, then read the report
When a post changes, leave the website field alone. Change the first block. A pinned post can mention the same URL.
After you publish, the report on yourspage.com shows views, which block was tapped, and the referrer. It does not show who tapped. A visit from x.com, twitter.com, or t.co is grouped as X. The in-app browser can still name X when the referrer is missing. If nothing names a source, the visit is direct.
The counts are on analytics. You can download the clicks as CSV and the page as JSON on every paid plan. How the product compares is on the Linktree page.

Questions
What do I paste into the website field on X?
The published Page URL, with https. On a username that is https://yourspage.com/yourname. If you connected a hostname you already own, paste that https address instead, such as https://links.yourname.com. Do not paste your X profile URL. That address opens X.
Can the bio stay a sentence?
Yes. Website is a separate field from Bio. On a 3 December 2025 copy of X’s help page, Bio is limited to 160 characters and Website is its own field. After you save, the link shows under the bio. The bio can stay a sentence. If the app has renamed the field, use the website slot.
Do I edit the X profile every time I add a link?
No. Leave https://yourspage.com/yourname in the website field. Reorder the blocks on the page. The bio sentence stays. The next person who opens the URL sees the new order. You do not go back to Edit profile to insert a link.
Should I replace the website field when I pin a post?
No. Leave the field. If the ask changed, change the first block on the page. A pinned post can mention the same URL, https://yourspage.com/yourname.
What does the click report show for visits from X?
Views, which block was tapped, and the referrer. It does not show who tapped. A visit from x.com, twitter.com, or t.co is grouped as X. The in-app browser can still name X when the referrer is missing. If nothing names a source, the visit is direct. You can download the clicks as CSV. The page itself is a separate JSON file.
