For artists
A link in bio for artists
A link in bio for artists is the short page you keep current when the portfolio site has gone quiet. The address is yourspage.com/yourname. Commissions, the new zine, and the shop you already run sit on it.

A portfolio site you do not keep up
You put up a portfolio site, then you stopped opening it. Two pages, an about line from a show that already came down, and a contact form that still sends mail if anyone finds it. Updating it turns into a second art practice: new images, another page, an afternoon you meant to spend printing. The prints do not wait on that.
The list you actually send is shorter. A commission link, the zine that came back from the printer, the prints, the sticker shop. You already keep that list. How this differs from Linktree is on the comparison, and that page is not a price table.
What goes on the page
The commission link goes first, and you can highlight it so it stands apart from the other links. A card holds the new zine: a title, a short description, and the URL it ships from. Prints and the sticker shop are plain links, under a Shop heading if you want that split. Paste the Etsy, Gumroad, Shopify, or Patreon address you already use. The sale happens there.
Instagram, Patreon, and email fit the icon row. Behance does too, if that is where the project images live. A text line is enough for the reply time, the months you are booked, or the sizes you will take. The address is yourspage.com/yourname. Claim your page and arrange that list in the draft.
Pictures, and what they are not
An image block is one picture, with optional alt text, an optional caption, and an optional link. A gallery holds up to 12 images, as a grid or a carousel. Use either when someone should see the work on this page, before they leave for the shop.
They are not a print-on-demand factory. The gallery does not print, pack, or charge a card. If a print sells, it sells on the shop you pasted. We do not host that checkout, and we do not take a cut of a payment we never see.
The price, the badge, and the address
Prices are on the pricing page. Monthly, yearly, and lifetime are the same kit.
A small “Made with Page” line can be turned off. It is one switch on the plan you already have, not a higher tier. Peach is the gradient on the sample. Linen is the paper-colored preset. When yourspage.com/yourname feels too casual for a gallery, point a hostname you already own at the page with one DNS record. SSL is included, and the name stays at the registrar. The record is explained on the custom domain page.
Set up a link in bio for artists
- Claim a name and work in the draft. Other people cannot open the URL until you publish. Put the links in while it is still a draft. You pay when you publish, not while you are arranging them.
- Add Instagram, Patreon, Behance, and email. A profile URL becomes an icon. Email uses the address you already answer. Leave off any icon you do not use.
- Order the commission, the zine, and the shop. Highlight the commission link so it is the one you want tapped. Add a card for the zine. Add Prints and Sticker shop as links. Those shop URLs are external, and the payment happens on that shop.
- Show pictures without turning them into a shop. Add one image, or a gallery of up to 12, when the work should be visible here. The pictures do not print or take payment.
- Publish, then the badge and the domain. Publishing is the paid step, and the kit is the same on monthly, yearly, and lifetime. Turn off the Made with Page line on that plan if you do not want it. Add a domain when yourspage.com/yourname feels too casual for a gallery.
Questions
What is a link in bio for artists?
It is one public page for the commission link, the new zine, the prints, and the shop you already run. The address is yourspage.com/yourname. You can finish the draft before you pay. Other people see it only after you publish. It is the list you keep current, in place of a portfolio site you stopped updating.
Can I show pictures of the work?
Yes. An image block holds one picture, with optional alt text, an optional caption, and an optional link. A gallery holds up to 12 images, as a grid or a carousel. The pictures sit on the page. They do not print or charge a card. A print still sells on the shop you already link.
Can I take commissions on the page?
You can put a link on the page, or a text line that says you are open and when you reply. That is what taking commissions on the page means. There is no invoice tool and no checkout here. The request and the payment happen in the email or on the site you linked.
Where does the print sale happen?
On the shop you already run. Paste an Etsy, Gumroad, Shopify, or Patreon URL and the visitor pays there. We do not host checkout, and we do not take a cut of a payment we never see. Prints, stickers, and a zine are the same kind of link. The page only shows where to go.
Can an artist remove the Page badge?
Yes. A small “Made with Page” line sits at the bottom, and you can turn it off. It is one switch on the plan you already have, not a higher tier. Monthly, yearly, and lifetime include that switch. You do not pay more to remove it.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes. Point a hostname you already own at the page with one DNS record. SSL is included when you publish. The name stays at your registrar, and you still pay them for the registration. The username URL keeps working if you skip this. A subdomain such as links.yourname.com is the usual shape.
