For freelancers
A link in bio for freelancers
A link in bio for freelancers is the URL you send when the proposal should stay a PDF. The address is yourspage.com/yourname.

The proposal can stay a PDF
The proposal already has the scope, the fee, and the dates. It is a file for one client. When the rate changes, or a month opens, that PDF is the wrong thing to keep exporting and attaching. The page is the part you edit, then send as one URL.
The address is yourspage.com/yourname. You can finish the draft before you pay. If you are weighing this against Linktree, the notes are on the Linktree comparison.
What goes on the page
Keep the list short. Services are a link, or a text block when one sentence covers the offer. Past work is one or two cards: a title, a URL, a description, and an optional image. The longer write-up can stay on the site you already have. A line in the bio can say whether you are taking work.
A Calendly URL can be a highlighted link, which is what the sample does, or the Calendly player on the page. The time is still booked on Calendly, and we do not take a booking fee. The “Made with Page” badge is a switch on the same plan, not a higher tier. The sample below leaves it off. Pointing a domain you already own at the page takes one DNS record, covered on the custom domain page. After you publish, analytics shows views, taps, and the referrer.
A shorter email thread
An FAQ block on the page can answer “Are you taking work?” and the other questions you get before a call. That block is what the client reads. The questions at the bottom of this article are about publishing.
A save-contact block downloads a vCard: the name, plus the phone, email, or site you entered. It goes into their address book. It is not a CRM, and it does not collect leads for you. Claim your page once the draft is what you would send instead of another PDF.
If you stop paying
If you stop paying, the page stays up for 7 days. After that it pauses. Visitors see a holding page. It is not deleted. The blocks stay on the account. Pay again and the same page is public.
You can download the page as JSON: name, bio, theme, domain, and blocks. Clicks download as CSV. Both files are on every paid plan, including before you cancel. They are described on the export page. Prices are on pricing.
Set up a link in bio for freelancers
- Claim a name. The URL is yourspage.com/yourname. Build the draft first. Other people can open it only after you publish.
- List services and availability. Add a link for each service, or one text block if a sentence is enough. Use the bio for how many slots you have.
- Add case studies and a calendar. Add one or two case-study cards. Highlight a Calendly link, or place the Calendly player. We do not take a booking fee.
- Answer the questions you already get. Add an FAQ block with “Are you taking work?” and a save-contact block that downloads a vCard.
- Publish. The badge is a switch on the plan you publish if you want it off. The JSON page and the CSV of clicks are on every paid plan, including before you cancel. Prices are on the pricing page.
Questions
What is a link in bio for freelancers?
It is the page you send when the proposal should stay a PDF. Services sit as links or a short text block. Past work sits as one or two cards. A calendar link books the call, and a line says whether you are taking work. The URL is public only after you publish.
Can clients book a call?
Yes. Paste a Calendly URL as a link, or place the Calendly player on the page. The time is still booked on Calendly, and we do not take a booking fee. Highlight that link when the call should sit above the case studies. The visitor picks the time on Calendly.
Can I list services and past work?
Yes. A service can be a link with a plain title, or a text block if one sentence covers it. A case study is a card with a title, a URL, a description, and an optional image. One or two cards is enough. The long write-up can stay on the site you already have.
Can someone save my contact from the page?
Yes. The save-contact block downloads a vCard with the name and the phone, email, or site you entered. It lands in the visitor's address book. It is not a CRM, and it does not keep a lead list for you. You type those details yourself.
What happens if I stop paying?
The page pauses. It stays public through a 7-day grace period. After that, visitors see a holding page. It is not deleted, and the blocks stay on the account. Pay again and the same page is public. You can download the page and the clicks before you cancel.
Can I download the page?
Yes. The page file is JSON: name, bio, theme, domain, and the blocks. Clicks are a CSV. Both downloads are on every paid plan, including before you cancel. You do not need a higher tier to take the files with you. The page file is the content, not a screenshot.
