For influencers

A link in bio for influencers

A link in bio for influencers is one page behind the single website field those apps give you. The video, the brand link, and the code you were given all have to share that tap.

A phone on a small tripod on a kitchen counter, screen off.
Between takes the screen stays off, and the tripod is there for the video.

One field in the bio

Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube give the profile one website field. This week's video, a brand's shop, and a code you were given cannot each have a slot. They have to live on the page behind that one URL. Where the URL goes in each app is documented in where to paste it. You paste it yourself. This product does not post or schedule Instagram or TikTok videos.

Everything else is a fight for that tap. Put the one you want first, and name the button for what it opens. A column of identical buttons makes the video and the brand link look like the same offer. The address is yourspage.com/yourname. You can set that order before anyone else can open the URL.

The video, the brand link, and the code

Paste the video URL. It plays from that host. YouTube, Vimeo, TikTok, Spotify, SoundCloud, Apple Music, Apple Podcasts, and Calendly can sit on the page this way. A Calendly URL embeds their scheduler, and the time is still booked on Calendly. You are not uploading a file.

A discount block shows a code, a description, and an optional URL. It does not apply the discount. The brand's shop does. Put this week's video first if that is the tap you want, then the code, then a kit list. The page shown next is that stack. When the draft looks right, claim a name. It will live at yourspage.com/yourname, and no one else can open it until you publish.

Nia Cole on the Linen theme: TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube, a highlighted link to this week's video, a discount block with the code NIA15 that links to a shop, a kit-list link, and text that the code is the brand's and the shop is not ours.

Clicks and referrers, not names

After you publish, you can see a visit's referrer. instagram.com can show up. Instagram and TikTok often hide the ordinary referrer, and the in-app browser can still name the app. You can also see which block was tapped, the country, and the device. You cannot see which Instagram account tapped. Instagram does not tell you that either.

Those fields are on the analytics page. A tap on the brand's shop is a click. The sale stays on the shop. What you get is counts and sources, not a list of names.

What you pay to publish

Prices are on the pricing page. That is when yourspage.com/yourname opens for everyone else. The badge switch is on every paid plan, not a higher tier. A custom domain is one DNS record, with SSL included, on the custom domain page. You still pay the registrar for the name.

Linktree publishes a page for free with their branding. Branding comes off on Pro and up. Pro is $15 a month or $144 a year, and Starter is $8 a month or $72 a year, as of September 2026. Custom domains are not on their help center. The longer comparison is here.

Set up a link in bio for influencers

  1. Claim a name. The URL is yourspage.com/yourname. You can claim it and arrange the draft before you pay. Other people cannot open it yet.
  2. Paste the profiles and the video. Add TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube. Paste the video URL if it should play on the page. It plays from that host. You are not uploading the file.
  3. Add the code you were given. Type the code, a short description, and the shop URL if the brand gave you one. The block shows the code. It does not apply the discount. The shop does.
  4. Put the URL in the website field. Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube each give you one website field. Paste yourspage.com/yourname there yourself. The notes for each profile are in where the URL goes.
  5. Publish, then read the taps. After you publish, the report shows the referrer and which block was tapped. It does not show which account did it.

Questions

What is a link in bio for influencers?

It is the page behind the one website field on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. This week's video, a brand link, and a code you were given sit there, and the bio holds a single URL. The apps still give you one field. This product does not post or schedule videos.

Can I show a discount code?

Yes. The discount block shows a code, a description, and an optional URL. It does not apply the discount. The brand's shop does, once the visitor copies the code and follows the link. You type the code you were given. The page does not generate one, and it does not take a cut.

Will this tell me who tapped from Instagram?

No. A visit can show a referrer, and instagram.com can show up, along with which block was tapped, the country, and the device. You cannot see which Instagram account tapped. Instagram does not tell you that either. The report is counts and sources, not names.

Can I embed a TikTok or a YouTube video?

Yes. Paste the video URL and it plays from that host. YouTube, Vimeo, TikTok, Spotify, SoundCloud, Apple Music, Apple Podcasts, and Calendly are the players. Nothing is uploaded, and nothing is posted or scheduled to Instagram or TikTok. The feed stays in those apps.

Is publishing free?

No. There is no free published page. Prices are on the pricing page. The badge switch is included on every paid plan.

How is this different from Linktree?

Linktree publishes a page for free with their branding, and branding comes off on Pro and up. Custom domains are not on their help center. This page charges to publish. The badge switch is on every paid plan, and a custom domain is one DNS record with SSL. The rest is at /vs/linktree.
